Book the Store for Private Browsing
We are opening up private browsing and date night opportunities at the shop! Both reservation types are good opportunities to relax, peruse, and connect safely. Choose to make it a romantic evening, spend time with a friend, or come alone for some peace, quiet, and self care time.
You can reserve either a 1 or 2 hour slot on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays all to yourself. We will accept either two 1-hour appointments or one 2-hour appointment on each available day. We provide ambiance, coffee or wine/beer, the opportunity to bring your own food, private browsing time, a selection of 2-player board games, and more. One Hour Time Slot
Private Browsing is for date night, friend time, or self care!
A $50 deposit is required to book. Once you book a time, you will receive an invoice via e-mail. Make sure to check your “Spam” folder (any e-mail) and your “Promotions” folder (Gmail), as sometimes invoices can get stuck in those folders. As soon as the invoice is paid, we will confirm your appointment.
If your invoice is not paid within 2 days of receipt, we will cancel your appointment and open up the time slot for someone else.
1-Hour Private Browsing for $50 Includes:
- 60 exclusive minutes to browse the bookstore for 1 or 2 people*
- A complimentary pot of local coffee
- Opportunity to BYOF (Bring Your Own Food)
- Table + 2 chairs and flameless candles will be provided
- A selection of quick 2-player board games will be provided
- 10% off any purchases made at the end of your date
- Masks are required when not actively eating or drinking.
- All surfaces sanitized between groups and we require at least 1 day in between reservations
- A member of our team will stage the area and let you into the space and then retire. They will then come back to manage any purchases and close up at the end of your reservation
*Please note that our private browsing is designed for 1 or 2 people. We will not allow more than 2 people to enter the store at once.
Two Hour Time Slot

A $100 deposit is required to book. Once you book a time, you will receive an invoice via e-mail. 2-Hour Private Browsing for $100 Includes:
- 120 exclusive minutes to browse the bookstore for 1 or 2 people*
- Opportunity to select a theme (Vampires, Space Opera, or Magic & Mayhem)
- Opportunity to BYOF (Bring Your Own Food)
- A complimentary glass of wine or beer OR a pot of local coffee
- Curated playlist (based on a brief pre-date survey)
- Curated book recommendation list (based on a brief pre-date survey)
- Your choice of a complimentary copy of one of the books we publish (great for gifts!)
- A selection of 2-player board games will be provided
- Bluetooth speaker, table + 2 chairs, and flameless candles will be provided
- 10% off any purchases made at the end of your date
