Kwaidan Book Club : September (Manga month!)

For the month of September, we’ll be reading and discussing Fruits Basket by Natsuki Takaya. This classic shojo manga series will be the first manga series for the JSNO Kwaidan Book Club.

We will be specifically covering material from the newly published Yen Press edition of Fruits Basket volume 1 (contains volumes 1 and 2 of the original manga publication, chapters 1-12). ISBN-13: 978-0316360166.

Fruits Basket is the perfect manga to discuss, as it has an accurate display of Japanese culture and lifestyle.
