Tubby & Coo’s is Seeking a Book Cover Designer

Tubby & Coo’s is launching our brand new publishing company, and we’re looking for a talented book cover designer to join us on a contract basis. This role will work very closely with us and with the authors to create original book cover artwork. Must be willing to design covers for both adult and children’s books.

The Designer will be responsible for:

• Creating original covers, illustrations, and photo research
• Designing mechanicals and preparing and delivering files for print

We prefer individuals with:

• Thorough knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and/or similar programs
• Passion for art, design, and typography
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and work independently to meet deadlines
• Collaborative spirit and positive attitude
• Ability to think creatively and effectively problem solve
• Ability to conceptualize the vision of the author/publisher into innovative cover designs
